He has signed and developed award-winning artists who have sold millions of records around the world such as CHVRCHES, Kali Uchis, YEBBA, James Blake, Whethan, MNEK, Kah-Lo, and Yade Lauren.  He is a recipient of Music Week's '30 Under 30' Award and has appeared in Variety, Hits Daily Double, Billboard & Rolling Stone Magazine. Markell has also been invited to speak at premier music conferences such as SXSW (USA), CMJ (USA), Big Sound (AUS) & The Great Escape (UK).
